2026 - 2027 Season
Studio Policies
Everything you need to know about billing, cancellations, the December showcase, and how we keep training safe and fair for every dancer.
Billing & Memberships
How billing works
- Monthly memberships are billed on the 1st of each month and auto-draft for the best per-class rate.
- Registration fees and class packages are non-refundable. All sales are final once registration is complete.
- Drop-in packs never rush you - most expire after a full year (new-student packs are shorter; check the pack details at checkout).
- All technique classes required for Choreography classes/levels can be taken concurrently per each Choreography class.
- A valid card on file is required to enroll. We keep a secure card on file to cover incidentals - recurring tuition, costume and showcase fees, and any unpaid balances - which may be charged to that card.
Cancellation & Medical Holds
Cancelling or pausing a membership
15 days' notice. Memberships may be cancelled or suspended with 15 days' written notice before the next billing date. Cancellations received fewer than 15 days before billing take effect the following month.
Medical holds. Medical holds may be requested in writing and pause billing for up to 60 days.
Discounts & Sponsorships
Male Dancer Sponsorship
Male dancers joining the company receive 50% off company enrollment and monthly tuition. (Does not apply to aerial or drop-in classes.)
Legacy Pricing
Legacy Pricing is available by invitation through August 1. If you think you qualify, please contact us.
Placement & Evaluation
Placement is based on physical readiness, technique, focus, and the ability to safely execute level requirements - not age or seniority.
- New students: Schedule a placement evaluation with the director before enrolling in any class or company track.
- Mid-year promotion: Available upon faculty recommendation; not automatic.
- Re-evaluation: All students are re-evaluated each May for the following season.
- Disagreement with placement: Schedule a meeting with the director - placements protect student safety and progress.

Studio Conduct & Community
Our policies exist to create a safe, focused, and welcoming environment for every student. We appreciate your partnership in upholding these standards.
In the Studio
- Arrive on time and ready to move. Latecomers may be asked to observe the warm-up portion for safety.
- Please don't interrupt class to speak with students or instructors - messages can be left at the front desk.
- Students should remain focused on the lesson; off-topic conversation during class is not permitted.
- Cell phones must be silenced and kept in bags during class. No cell phone use inside the studio - ever.
- Studio stereo equipment may only be operated by staff.
- Children not enrolled in a class must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while on the premises.
Snacks & Personal Items
- Taking back-to-back classes? Bring a snack. Please eat only in the student lounge (outside the dressing rooms) - not in the studio or lobby.
- Water bottles are welcome inside the studio.
- Store dance bags in the designated cubbies in the lobby or dressing rooms. Lost items are held at the front desk and donated at the end of each month if unclaimed.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off
- Students under 16 must be accompanied out of the building by a parent or guardian after class.
- If a ride is running late, please wait comfortably inside the studio - we're happy to stay with your student until they're picked up.
- Please do not wait outside the studio.
Respect & Community Standards
We expect all students, parents, and guardians to treat staff, fellow students, and the studio space with kindness and respect. Bullying, exclusionary behavior, or disrespect toward any community member will not be tolerated.
Fly One Studios reserves the right to remove a student from a class, membership, or Company program for non-payment, repeated absences, or behavior that disrupts the studio environment. In the event of removal, prepaid tuition for the remainder of the month is non-refundable.
Coming dressed and ready to dance shows respect for your instructor and classmates. Please review the requirements for your discipline on the Classes & Levels page.
Safety first, always
Aerial and acro progressions are gated by strength and skill checks for a reason - every level advances only with coach approval. Prerequisites and skill benchmarks for each class are listed on the Classes & Levels page. Times and offerings may also be adjusted seasonally; the live schedule always reflects current availability.
