Anna Boyle

Anna is a performing artist and choreographer based in Los Angeles. Her early training developed with San Diego Dance Works where she danced competitively. She studied as a work-study with San Diego Dance Theater, and has performed alongside their company under the artistic direction of Terry Wilson. Additionally, Anna has danced in contemporary based works by Nathan Waters and Maggie Ogle. She is a company member of OGWA Dance Theater and performs at festivals and venues throughout LA County. Anna holds her A.A in Performing Arts from San Diego City College and is currently a Dance B.F.A. candidate at California State University, Long Beach, graduating in Spring 2027.

Skylar Burson

Skylar Burson, a Long Beach native, began training at Lauridsen Ballet Centre under the guidance of Diane Lauridsen. After graduating from Long Beach City College, Skylar was offered a contract with Jacqueline Colledge’s Utah Metropolitan Ballet. During his time with the company, he danced many of the classics alongside new works by Alan Hineline and Heather Gray. He later returned to California to work as a rehearsal director with Lauridsen Ballet Centre, gaining experience behind the scenes.

While continuing his training and networking as a guest artist, he was commissioned to participate in one of Garrett Ammon’s new works for Wonderbound. Additionally, Skylar danced the title role in Graham Lustig’s Nutcracker with the Oakland Ballet Company. In 2021, amid the pandemic, he joined Ballet Tucson, where he has explored classical and contemporary works, ranging from George Balanchine to Justin Peck, under the mentorship of Margaret Mullin. Since moving back to California, Skylar has decided to pursue a freelance career, working with Ballet Project OC, Kenneth Walker Dance Project, and American Contemporary Ballet.

Melissa Coindreau

Melissa performed as a principal dancer with the San Antonio Met Ballet for 5 yrs. As an international touring artist her professional credits include Grease, Cabaret, The Broadway Musical Swing, and she has had the pleasure of performing with such greats as the Cab Calloway Orchestra, Twyla Tharp, Terry Beeman's Mental Head Circus, and Michael Buble.

She holds US titles in Swing Dance and, is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor. Consumed with the idea of taking dance into the air she found her way to aerial arts. Melissa is an advanced pole technician with competitive experience. She has also coached championship pole artists, produced, costumed, and choreographed aerial concerts, and loves any opportunity for a creative challenge. With over 20 years of professional experience, she is trained in aerial hoop, silks, hammock, and enjoys blending the world of dance and aerial together. She is proud to share her love of dance and aerial innovation with her students.

Kasey Cosentino is an award-winning choreographer, educator, creative director, and mentor with more than 21 years of experience in the dance industry. Known for her dynamic teaching style and passion for developing confident, well-rounded artists, Kasey has dedicated her career to inspiring dancers through technical excellence, creativity, and authentic self-expression. As the Founder and Director of The Werkshop LA, Kasey has traveled throughout the United States and Canada providing workshops, mentorship opportunities, and professional development for dancers and educators alike. Her classes combine strong technical foundations, conditioning, flexibility training, performance quality, and artistic exploration, creating an environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and inspired.

Kasey Cosentino

Khilea Douglass

Khilea (Douglass) Jessup brings more than 30 years of professional dance experience to the studio. Her formal training began at the Baltimore School for the Arts, and at 15 she continued her studies at Dance Theatre of Harlem. Following high school, she was awarded a scholarship to The Ailey School in New York, which led to national tours with Ailey II.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Khilea performed as a soloist with Lula Washington Dance Theatre and appeared in the film Something New. In 2005 she joined Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, touring internationally for six years, and in 2011 she became a cast member of the Broadway musical The Lion King.

Khilea is certified to teach ballet through the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she pursued studies in Dance Science at California State University, Long Beach, and Pilates at the Pilates Institute of Southern California. Since 2022 she has taught Clinical Pilates and ballet from a science-based, holistic perspective at Loyola Marymount University, and in 2023 she founded Holistic Dance Arts LLC.

Deeply committed to the mental and emotional well-being of her students, Khilea inspires both excellence and healing through the art of dance.

Precious Gilbert

Precious Gilbert began her dance training in Cincinnati, Ohio, studying at Cincinnati Ballet and performing with the company. She furthered her training through summer programs at Boston Ballet, The Rock School, Briansky Saratoga Springs Center, and The Ballet Center, and later joined Ballet Austin as a trainee. After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Precious joined Luminario Ballet, where she has performed many times over the years as a ballerina and aerialist in concerts, festivals, and private events representing the company.

In addition to her concert dance career, she has appeared in numerous television and commercial projects. Precious is excited to share her passion for ballet and aerial arts with Fly One Studio.

Brandon Hanson

Brandon is a professional aerial acrobatics performer and coach. Born in Phoenix, he grew up playing piano and French horn, competing as a gymnast, and always singing, which led him to musical theater roles like Javert in Les Misérables and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods. In 2012 he moved to Utah to pursue a theater degree and coach recreational gymnastics—and while in rehearsals for Side Show, fate took him to his first silks class.Aeris Aerial Arts, a boutique studio in Sandy, became his second home, where he trained under Darla Day for nearly three years, mastering silks, hammock, and straps. After graduating from Aeris' company, he moved to Las Vegas, where his first big gig was choreographing the aerial work for Huntsman Theater's production of Tarzan; in 2016 he won the men's silks division of the US Aerial Championship in Manhattan, and his career took off. He has since traveled the world performing, teaching workshops, and judging competitions, building a sizable Instagram following with his one-minute choreographies. For the last six years, Brandon has coached passionate adults at The Loft with Womack and Bowman and remarkable children at Le Petit Cirque with Natalie Gautier, where his expertise expanded from solo soft-apparatus work to complex multi-person acts on steel apparatus, and he helped create two original cirque-musicals, "The Dummy's Attic" and "Polaris". He is also a member of the modern-ballet company Luminario, directed by Judith Helle, with whom he has performed several times.

Jeril Joseph

Jeril is a social media strategist, artist, producer, and DJ based in Los Angeles, CA. He’s classically trained, performed in choir in elementary & middle school as a tenor and played bassoon & flute in symphonic & marching band for about 5 years. Jeril completed his undergraduate degree at UCLA, studying Psychobiology and minored in LGBTQ Studies. In that period, he’s worked with MEDLIFE & the Center for Scholars & Storytellers in organizing their research, event coordination, and social media campaigns & deliverables. He has taken courses through CourseRA, Studio, and School of Song, learning from Andrew Huang & Arca. He releases music and mixes under the name Blu Frooti & BiFu independently.

Karley Taylor

Ballet Instructor, Strength & Conditioning Instructor

Raised in Sacramento, Karley’s formative dance training took place at Natomas Charter Performing and Fine Arts Academy where she was a member of the Blackrock Dance Company. She also trained at Natomas Dance Method, where she danced competitively and fostered her love of teaching. She is currently enrolled in her last semester at California State University, Long Beach, completing her BFA in Dance and BS in Dance Science. In addition to her studies, Karley is a certified personal trainer with a focus on injury prevention and strength training for dancers. She approaches teaching from anatomically and biomechanically informed lens, using evidence-based training methods to facilitate dancers’ safety and appropriate technical development. Additionally, Karley has performed with both the Sacramento Ballet and the Sacramento Dance Theatre and danced in contemporary based works by Rebecca Lemme and Tamsin Carlson. When she is not dancing or studying, Karley enjoys hiking, traveling, and caring for her many plants.
